  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in compliance with accounting principles and regulations in Germany.
  • Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Process and review expense reports, invoices, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations, recommending changes or updates to accounting policies and procedures as necessary.


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1+ years in accounting or finance positions, preferably in a SaaS company, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition and deferred revenue.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as DATEV and NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Broad knowledge of accounting standards and regulations. Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with tax preparation and filings is a plus.
